Interweaving visual and literary creativity, his work combines painting, sculpture, words, actions, video and sound. Rooted in the work of Joan Brossa, J. V. Foix and Jacint Verdaguer who, together with the popular culture of his native Maresme area, influenced the development of his artistic vision, his work questions the relationship between nature and culture. In 2005 he won the Catalan government National Visual Arts Prize for his work <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Els cims pensamenters<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and in 2006 the Spanish ministry of culture National Visual Arts Prize for his &#8220;reformulation of the relationship between art and territory.&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some of his most important interventions and exhibitions include the medallions for the medallions in the Gran Teatre del Liceu (1999), the retrospectives <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deixar de fer una exposici\u00f3<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (MACBA, 1999) and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ai Perejaume, si veies la muni\u00f3 d\u2019obres que t\u2019envolten, no en faries cap de nova!<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (La Pedrera, 2011), and his part in the CCCB exhibition &#8220;La m\u00e0quina de pensar&#8221; with the video installation <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La rel de l\u2019arbre \u00e9s una roda<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (2016).
