A graduate in History of Art from the University of Barcelona with a master’s degree in Art History, Curatorial Track, from the University of Delaware, USA, she has been director of the Contemporary Art Collection of the \u201cla Caixa\u201d foundation since 2002. She joined the institution in 1990 as curator of this this collection.<\/span><\/p>\n

She has played a key part in the development, research and dissemination of the collection, heading the acquisitions committee and curating many exhibitions both in Spain and abroad. Her most recent exhibitions include <\/span>Horizonte y l\u00edmite. Visiones del paisaje <\/span><\/i>\u2014at CaixaForum Madrid and Barcelona\u2014, <\/span>\u00a1M\u00edrame! Retratos y otras ficciones en la Colecci\u00f3n <\/span><\/i>\u2014an itinerant exhibition at different CaixaForum sites and museums\u2014 and <\/span>La pintura. Un reto permanente<\/span><\/i> \u2014at CaixaForum Madrid and Barcelona\u2014 and <\/span>L\u2019image revenante<\/span><\/i>, which she co-curated at the Rath Museum in Geneva. Her curating career has also included projects devoted to artists such as Omer Fast, Tony Oursler, Bestu\u00e9\/Vives, Pierre Huyghe and Nicolas Paris.\u00a0 She also devised the concept for <\/span>En el estudio<\/span><\/i>, a series of videos of conversations between artists for the CaixaForum+ platform<\/span><\/p>\n
