A sound artist, researcher and producer born in Lesaka in 1975. The primary feature of his work is his research and curiosity about any form of communication or creativity that involves listening and sound. He has worked with a long list of artists of different disciplines and origins, and his work has been presented at countless film festivals, arts centres and museums all over the world. As well as creating his own work, he regularly composes soundtracks for films, for which he has won several international awards. In recent years he has co-directed the ERTZ international festival of other musics in Bera (Navarra), has curated several international exhibitions and projects and coordinated the sound department of the former ARTELEKU contemporary arts centre in Donostia-San Sebasti\u00e1n. He regularly works with different media, appearing on the radio and writing articles and opinion columns about music, sound and listening culture.
