She is a Fellow of the United States National Endowment for the Arts for her translation of <em>Cremation<\/em> by Rafael Chirbes. She has translated the work of Juan Eduardo Cirlot, Enrique Vila Matas and Bioy Casares, and worked with Azar Nafisi on the adaptation from Farsi of <em>Nabokov and Exile<\/em> for Yale University Press. She sits on the editorial committee of the Margellos collection for Yale University Press and is literary adviser to the international fellowship of the Prado museum. Curator of the exhibition <em>Archivo Bola\u00f1o, 1977-2003<\/em>, the outcome of research into the writer&#8217;s archives. Her bibliography includes monographic articles for <em>Granta<\/em> and the book <em>A Thousand Forests in One Acorn<\/em>. She lectures in literary translation and creative writing at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
