Its most remarkable feature is the band itself: a trio made up of piano, violin and <em>txistu<\/em> pipe and drum, probably the only music group of this kind. But the musical background of each of the musicians is also unusual and varied: Yorrick Troman, currently Leader of the Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de Navarra, Amaia Cordoba, an extremely highly qualified pianist and musicologist and secondary school teacher, and Ion Irazoki, member of the San Sebasti\u00e1n municipal <em>txistu<\/em> pipe band. Three very different instruments and backgrounds, but a shared interest in the Basque musical repertoire.
