He was artistic director of the Punto de Vista International Documentary Film Festival from 2013 to 2016 in Pamplona (Navarre). His debut feature film <em>Emak Bakia baita <\/em>(2012) was translated into 16 languages and won 17 awards. His second feature film <em>Zumiriki<\/em> (2018) premiered in the Orizzonti section in the Venice Film Festival and won Best Non-Fiction Film at the Seville European Film Festival.
