Resonancias creativas en tiempos convulsos.

Numerous metaphors have been used to express modernity over history. First it was progress, then revolution. Today, the sign of the times speaks of creativity. As Marcuse predicted, Eros has become the archetypal centrality of late modernity. Prometheus has yielded to the stunning emergence of a deity demanding the semantic re-foundation of society. Creativity has become one of the main keys to thinking about the 21st century. 

The Encuentros de Pamplona 72-22 have opened a Space of Thought where society as a whole has to be present in an exercise of plural reflexibility, which is essential in a time of crisis like this. The academic reflection born of research in the Humanities and Social Sciences cannot miss this encounter; it must abandon its ivory tower, without renouncing critical thinking.

This Workshop, which is based on four tables focusing on the major themes proposed in the Encuentros, will address some of the most central issues based on the research currently being carried out at the Institute for Advanced Social Research I-COMMUNITAS in order to contribute from there to reflection and open debates.
