Film maker and teacher. El cielo gira (2005), her first feature, earned widespread recognition from critics and audiences, winning numerous international prizes including the Tiger Awards in Rotterdam, Cinéma du Réel best film, Fipresci from BACIFI and the Premio Ojo Crítico from Radio Nacional. Her second feature, Mercado de Futuros (2011), won the Regard Neuf prize at the Nyon festival, among others. Together with Francesç Torres she represented Catalonia at the Venice Biennale in 2013, with the piece 25%Catalonia at Venice.
She teaches on the master’s programme in creative documentary at the Pompeu Fabra university in Barcelona. She has curated also retrospectives on film-makers and given seminars at different universities, museums and festivals both in Spain and abroad.
