Almost without noticing, we are storing photographs one after another when we record a video: 25 still frames are normally contained in one second. Movement means joining several stills together, and this can also happen in everyday life; a memory of the past comes to us in the form of a picture, as if over time we had lost some of the frames. A photograph stops time and therefore can be before, now or later, all at once.

If a video is a moving picture, a photograph can be a static video. We’re going to use this idea to collectively create a short film to serve to go into schools and for the pupils to get to know each other better (though above all we’ll share the creative process of a work of art), learning together out of curiosity. Each one will bring an object, a song, a drawing or a photograph connected with a personal memory. For example, an unusual stone, a lullaby, a photo (of an animal, a place, the family or whatever).
