Professor of photography.
Armando García Ferreiro was born in Lugo and is a graduate in Fine Art and Professor of Photography at the Antonio Faílde school of art and design in Ourense (Xunta de Galicia), where he currently lectures in Photographic Projects. He has dedicated himself to teaching, researching and practising photography for more than twenty-five years. Apart from official lecturing, he has given workshops on specific themes, advised authors on their projects, worked with institutions on educational innovation projects and run residencies in Spain and elsewhere. Since 2014 he has helped to plan content at La Plantación, Encuentros y Conocimiento.
