Peruvian writer and journalist. She has published the books Sexografías, Nueve Lunas, Llamada perdida and Dicen de mí, and the book of poems Ejercicios para el endurecimiento del espíritu.
Her texts have appeared in several anthologies and have been translated into English, Portuguese, Polish, French and Italian. Her first stories were published in the Peruvian narrative journalism periodical Etiqueta Negra.
She was editor in chief of Marie Claire in Spain and today is a regular opinion columnist for Eldiario.es, as well as making a videocolumn in lamula.pe. She won the Peruvian national journalism prize for a piece of investigative reporting on a case of gender violence.
She has created several performances that she has staged together with her family. She recently wrote and starred in the stage play Qué locura enamorarme yo de ti. She has just published the novel Huaco retrato (Penguin Random House). She lives in Madrid.
