Sandra Ollo

Editor and linguist.

She studied Spanish Philology at the University of Navarre, English Philology at UNED and a master’s degree in Comparative Philosophy, Literature and Art at the Pompeu Fabra University. She began working at the Félix Huarte chair in aesthetics and contemporary art at the University of Navarre, where she learned the basics of editing and arts administration. In 2008 she joined the publisher Acantilado y Quaderns Crema, becoming manager in 2012 and editor and CEO ten years ago. She has a pro-European outlook, like the publishing house she runs, and strives to ensure the quality of its books and to keep a catalogue designed to foster critical thought. Acantilado has won numerous awards for its publishing work. The writers in its catalogue include Nobel laureates Svetlana Aleksievich and Imre Kertész.
