Tania Adam

Journalist, cultural critic and founder of Radio Africa Magazine. Her work explores migrations, Black diasporas and African music around the Black Atlantic. Her multidisciplinary work injects alternative narratives about Africa and the diverse nature of blackness into the collective imagination. 

She curated Microhistorias de la Diáspora. Experiencias encarnadas de la dispersión femenina (La Virreina, 2018-2019) and devised the programme of activities for Making Africa: Un continente de diseño contemporáneo (CCCB, 2016). Co-curator of the research Blue Black Futures (MACBA, 2022). Scriptwriter for Diásporas. Historias del arte desde Barcelona (MACBA, 2020). She currently runs the Radio África programme on Betevé Radio and conducts the multidisciplinary research España Negra (Museo Reina Sofía, MACBA, Artium, CCCB, MNAC, Casa África, IVAM…).
