Regalar es derretir explores the notion of giving as a transfer, an appendix to a body that wants to give itself to another. The proposition takes the gift as something that initiates a situation, that opens up a space. Also, its ability to reduce distance and strengthen the link. Faced with the impossibility of giving a kiss forever, capturing the smell of a body or holding onto a companionable hand: the gift.
Regalar es derretir is a collective exhibition by Ada Garrués, Lorea Alfaro and Katixa Goldarazena in a dialogue with Pamplona city council’s contemporary art collection, curated by Iñigo Villafranca Apesteguia.
