Herta Müller began her literary career writing poems, and returned to poetry throughout her life, but at a certain time she decided to add visual elements. This was the origin of her collage poems which, with the passing of time and artistic practice, have represented an invaluable space for creative freedom. Cecilia Dreymüller, translator and editor of Müller’s last book The Official Said, will be talking to the 2009 Nobel Prize for Literature winner about her relationship with literature, essay and collage poetry.
