Massimo Cacciari

One of the most important contemporary philosophers, he was born in Venice in 1944. Emeritus professor of Philosophy and member of the Academia dei Lincei, he is one of the leading figures in European philosophical and political debate. He has devoted numerous essays to the idea of Europe, among them Geofilosofia dell’EuropaL’arcipelago and Europa o la filosofía. His theoretical work is concentrated in three volumes: Dell’inizio (1990), Della cosa ultima (2004) and Labirinto filosofico, (2014).
