What is this call for proposals about?
As part of the activities organized by the “Encuentros de Pamplona / Iruñeko Topaketak” biennial, the “Artistic Memory of the Encuentros” project aims to offer Spanish artists and artists residing in Spain the opportunity to create new works of art basadas en las ideas y temáticas desarrolladas en los diálogos, conferencias y actividades artísticas del programa.
New artistic projects must be conceived after attending some or all of the activities offered by the program that explore the 11 program themes, whether through dialogues, lectures, workshops, or artistic programming. To this end, all those interested in participating in the call for submissions for the artistic record of the Encounters are asked to fill out an attendance form.
What amounts will be awarded?
A total of 90,000 euros (+VAT) is allocated for the six selected projects (whether individual or collective) involving newly created works of art, which will be awarded the following amounts:
- 10,000 euros + VAT as fees for time dedicated to creation and production.
Up to 5,000 euros + VAT to cover the project’s production costs. Provided that this financial limit is not exceeded and a detailed breakdown of expenses is provided, the amount awarded will be the amount requested for each project.
How can I participate?
- Fill out the registration form for Encuentros.
- Enjoy the Encuentros de Pamplona/Iruñeko Topaketak from October 2 to 12.
- Submit your application along with your project.
- The deadlines will be announced in June 2026.
Do you need help getting around and finding a place to stay in Pamplona?
The first 20 people who need to travel to Pamplona to attend the Encuentros de Pamplona/Iruñeko Topaketak and who submit their registration form by September 20 will be eligible for a grant of up to 250€ when they present their project.
