Martin Etxauri
Martin Etxauri Sainz de Murieta, alias Txo!?, is an artist, researcher and teacher. A doctor researching contemporary art. he works with technology and so-called new media to consider the technological from a critical, oblique viewpoint. He explores the relationship between the digital and the physical, on the one hand, through interactivity and the interfaces that establish the relationship between the person and the machine, and on the other hand through processes of digitalisation and transformation of nature.
CREATING, PLAYING AT UNDERSTANDING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Does today’s artificial intelligence have anything in common with animal intelligence? How far is it capable of understanding? How far is it capable of dealing with meaning? So how does it work? Through different games and activities, we’ll try to learn and understand how artificial intelligence (AI) works. Through creativity and creation, we’ll think about what it gives us, what it can take away and its relationship with people and their surroundings. This workshop is part of the Encuentros pathway “You or Me, or Both: Living with Artificial Intelligence”.
