Caring for one’s own, caring for others
Presented and facilitated by:
At the Encuentros, Boris Groys will be explaining the main ideas in his book The Philosophy of Care. This work explores philosophical tradition to analyse the notion and current practice of care, to deal with the physical and the symbolic, the I and the Other, value and life, recognition and the recovery of a framework for thought defined by the fragility of life (individual, collective and planetary) and the omnipresence of death. After the talk, the art historian Carolina B. García Estévez will be in dialogue with the philosopher.
*This session will have Boris Groys via videoconference.
