The overabundance of discourses and the excess of – often manipulated – information, mean the individual needs to situate her or himself in a hyperactive world that generates enormous confusion. It is therefore urgent to know where we are, to ask which is the best way, and it is fair to ask this of a “philosophy to situate ourselves”, because this warns of the fraud of identity and points to the position we must take for the common good, which is ultimately the point of democracy, today under threat.
