Luciana Cadahia

Philosopher and political thinker.

Her ideas have influenced contemporary political thought in Latin America. With a background in German idealism, romanticism and French philosophy of difference, her interests include the field of aesthetics, the popular, emancipation and populism. She has lectured on the master’s degree in the Philosophy of History at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, directed by Félix Duque, and has been researcher and visiting scholar at various universities in Europe, the United States and Latin America.  She currently lectures at the Institute of Aesthetics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. The author of, among others, Mediaciones de lo sensible (2017), El Círculo Mágico del Estado: feminismo, populismo y antagonismo (2019) and República de los cuidados (Herder, 2024).
