New reactionary modes, new modes of emancipation
Presented and facilitated by:
Unless it sacrifices its rigour, philosophy cannot turn its back on today’s realities. With the aim of constructing a place and space for philosophical debate, Luciana Cadahia will deal with the tension between democracy and post-democracy, the various forms of populism, the social and political place of feminism, the relationship between language and affection, the diverse faces of freedom today and the forging of a republic of caring in response to the growing shadow of the far right. After the talk, Luciana Cadahia will be followed by a dialogue with the philosopher Carlos Javier González Serrano.
