Marion Poschmann: Literature and Nature

Marion Poschmann, one of the most critically-acclaimed poets, writers and essayists in Germany today, winner of the German Prize for Nature Writing, will be talking to publisher and translator Cecilia Dreymüller about the relationship between writing and nature. In Poschmann’s words, “If we want to protect nature and avoid environmental catastrophe, a new romanticisation of the world, a poetic view of nature is needed. This is nothing to do with sentimentalism, but with the essential facts of our existence.”
