An electronic and automation engineer, with master’s degrees in both biomedical engineering and creative literature, a doctorate in Humanities from the UPF and another from the UB, in the development of AI techniques applied to the analysis of brain signals. He has worked in laboratories specialising in nanomaterials and virtual reality, as well as in the field of hospital innovation. He currently divides his time between his work in neuroscience at the UB’s Brainlab and teaching creativity at the UOC. His research interests focus on the intersection between the humanities and science, particularly on topics such as perception, imagination and the way in which we create and interpret fiction. In 2019, he published Todos nacemos locos. 50 títulos esenciales sobre el trastorno mental (UOC Press); in 2023, he wrote the script for the comic book Locura. Un elogio de la diferencia (Norma Editorial), and in 2024 published his first novel, Una (Mutatis Mutandis). He is a contributor to Jot Down, CCCB Lab, Revista Mercurio, Quimera and Revista de Libros.
