Marina Lameiro
Marina Lameiro is a film-maker and producer. Her work has been selected for festivals including Visions du Réel, FIDMarseille, Punto de Vista, Open City London and MoMA Doc Fortnight, among others. After graduating in Audiovisual Communication from the URJC, she continued her film training in Barcelona and New York, completing the master’s degree in Creative Documentary and the postgraduate course in Editing at the Pompeu Fabra University, and as a resident artist at the UnionDocs documentary arts centre in Brooklyn.
WRITING WITH PICTURES
By playing with the language of film as a tool for reflection, this workshop invites participants to create relations between pictures, sounds and words in order to question our relationship with our surroundings. Using different experimental techniques including collage, filming, montage and writing, we will explore different ways of adding meaning to a picture or a sound. This workshop is part of the Encuentros pathway on “Film, the Image That Makes No Concessions”.
