Art and meaning after the arrival of AI

Filmmaker and artist Hito Steyerl, in conversation with artist and educator Lisa Tan, will develop the main ideas of her essay Medium Hot, where she explores the complexities of the digital world, art and capitalism, and the implications of artificial intelligence. As the international critics say, this essay is like a Dantesque journey through the roaring inferno of twenty-first-century visual culture. The interview will offer insights into Steyerl’s artistic practice. Her pieces “Is the Museum a Battlefield?” and “November”  are on display during the biennial (El Polvorín building, in Ciudadela, From October 2nd to November 15th).
