A graduate in History and Politics from the University of Kent, she won a scholarship to the Graduate School of Journalism at Columbia University in 2007, living in New York until 2014. An editor at El País newspaper, her work, with a particular focus on interviews with authors, has been published in journals including The Paris Review, Letras Libres and The Reading Room Journal. She co-edited the book Upstairs at The Strand: Writers in Conversation at the Legendary Bookstore (WW Norton, 2016).
