The Carolyn Carlson Company is a hive of activity, a place for creativity and freedom where gesture and poetic thought intertwine. After nine years as director of the Centre Chorégraphique National in Roubaix, Carolyn Carlson returned to Paris and founded her company, the Carolyn Carlson Company, in residence from 2014 to 2016 at the Théâtre National de Chaillot.
With a unique repertoire and dancers loyal to her universe, Carlson continues her creative process. After 8 years of ambitious projects, creations, exhibitions, audiovisual projects and sharing her poetry all over the world, the choreographer intends to place transmission and teaching at the heart of her company, in parallel with tours of the pieces in her repertoire.
