Artist, teacher and researcher.
Senior lecturer in the department of sculpture and art and technology of the faculty of fine art at the UPV/EHU. He works in the territory of the new media, where he has constructed a poetics concerning the body of the technological/digital. Within this, Araujo has dealt with the inevitable relations between human and machine, in installations like La 3ª ley de Clarke (2008), Ehime Daruma (2013), Turba (2014), The Trained Particles Circus (2018) and Analemma (2023), among others; and in the search for a synthetic visuality of his own; among them Angels, Tribute to Giordano (2015), Terra Nullius (2018) and Report on the Empyrean (2021). His work has been acclaimed and exhibited at national and international artistic events. His theoretical research has been published in specialist journals.
