Philosopher. He is one of the most influential thinkers in philosophy of technology today. With a PhD from Goldsmith College, London, he is Professor of Philosophy at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where he holds the Chair of Human Conditions and is founder and convener of the Research Network for Philosophy and Technology, an international research network that explores the relationship between philosophy and technology from different global and historical perspectives. Yuk Hui studied computer engineering at the University of Hong Kong, wrote a PhD thesis under Bernard Stiegler at Goldsmiths University London, and obtained his Habilitation in philosophy from Leuphana University Lüneburg.
