Eduardo Raimundo

A versatile clarinettist, he combines his role in the Orquesta Nacional de España with a busy schedule of chamber music, performance on historic instruments and contemporary creativity. Firmly committed to the music of our time, he has backed and premiered work by composers like Héctor Parra, Josep Planells, José María Sánchez-Verdú, Jesús Torres, Voro García and Tomás Marco. He is a founding member of Trio Musicalis, with which he has premiered more than twenty works and recoded the discs “Contrasts” and “Mosaicos”. He has premiered concerts for bass clarinet and orchestra by José Luis Greco and Ramón Paus, as well as the piece for bass clarinet and ensemble “Star-Isles” by Carlos Fontcuberta. He combines his artistic work with teaching at the Centro Superior Katarina Gurska and the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía.
