Originally from Bulgaria, she is an academic Hispanist and journalist. She has focused her career on cultural dissemination, combining academic work with a keen eye for contemporary creativity. She currently works as a literary critic and arts journalist in The Objective and ABC Cultural, and writes about the musical genres of opera and zarzuela for Madrid Actual. She has been an editorial reader for publishers such as Libros del Asteroide. As a researcher, she is studying for a doctorate and in recent years has published a critical edition of José Jiménez Lozano’s journalistic work, as well as academic texts about this and other authors for leading Hispanist journals and publishers.
