He has translated, primarily from Romanian to Catalan, essays, novels, poetry and theatre by fifteen different modern and contemporary authors. He won the 31st Cavall Verd – Rafel Jaume poetry translation prize (AELC) and the city of Craiova award for his joint translation Per entre els dies, by Marin Sorescu, and the Serra d’Or critics’ prize for translation, for Per què ens estimem les dones, by Mircea Cărtărescu, with whom he has shared presentations, readings and conversations at Catalan festivals, and by whom he has also published a poetry collection through Lleonard Muntaner Editor entitled Res. Poemes 1988-1992, and in 2024, the anthology Dietaris 1990-2017. Una tria, which includes for the first time in translation a selection from his first four diaries. In 2018 he coordinated a symposium on Cărtărescu’s work at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, co-editing the proceedings. Since the academic year 2022-2023 he has taught a cycle on translated Romanian literature at the Nollegiu school of creative writing in Barcelona.
