He is a poet, translator and publisher of poetry. As a poet he has published two dozen books, the most recent of these entitled Fragilitats. His poetry has been translated, primarily into French.
In 1998 he set up the publisher Cafè Central, which has released some two hundred books of poetry in Catalan, half of which are translations of contemporary authors. He has translated poetry from French (in particular Philippe Jaccottet), Italian and Romansh.
