Broadening the view

Poetry is a space for expression, a way of seeing and a way of being, but also a form of knowledge and resistance in the face of narratives that simplify the world. And this may be its most important attribute right now: the way it forces us to stop and pay attention, shifting certainties and raising new questions. Poetic language questions, transforms and opens up new ways of understanding reality and the collective; it forces us to read the present with a profound, critical and complex sensitivity, as far away as possible from reductionist messages.
